Arsenal poor run of games continued in the league on Sunday.
Arsenal fell to another defeat against Burnley at the Emirates stadium. It was the third home loss and fourth straight loss on the row for the north London side.
The Gunners have been struggling to score as their lead striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored only two goals so far in the campaign.
Mikel Arteta side are currently 15th in the league. They hosted Sean Dyche men on Sunday in the late kick off.
The Gunners were in control of the game, with Nick Pope stopping Aubameyang effort and Alexander Lacazette two shots on target.
But the moment of test came for the Gunners after Granit Xhaka had fouled Westwood but lost his tempered and held the midfielder on the neck, with VAR ruled for violent misconduct. He was sent off with a straight red card.
This means Xhaka will miss the next three games for the Gunners, he was booed out of the pitched by the unhappy 2,000 Arsenal fans.
Burnley kept mounting the pressure in the Gunners and finally got the reward after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang flicked a corner from Burnley into his own net.
The game finished 1-0 and Burnley and it was the first time Sean Dyche will defeat Arsenal in the Premier League.
After the game, Gabriel Magalhães went on his social media space to apologise to the fans. He added that he's side will soon turn things around.
Arsenal will face Southampton in their next game on Wednesday. The Saints are in good form as they are 5th in the league submit all thanks to their 3-0 victory against Sheffield United over the weekend.
