Manchester City sealed top spot in their group after last night's win against Marseille.
The Citizens have already qualified for the round of 16 of the Champions League but needed to finish top of the group which they did with a sounding 3-0 win over French side, Marseille.

Goals from Ferran Torres, Raheem and late Substitute Sergio Aguero handed Pep Guardiola side the victory.

Pep Guardiola welcome back his talisman in Sergio Aguero, the Argentine forward has been struggling with fitness problem since the second half of last season.

If you recall that Aguero had a knee surgery in the summer which made him miss the knockout stages of last season Champions League.

It was later reported that the former Atletico Madrid forward suffered a further setback with a hamstring injury shortly after his comeback this season.

Pep Guardiola has praised the striker prowess in front of goal after his goal last night.

Just so you know, Aguero has now scored 41 Champions League goals.

"His instinct to score will always be there," Guardiola said after the game. "He had three or four training sessions, his reaction was good. He played 25 minutes and scored a goal but it's step-by-step.

"The most important thing is his reaction tomorrow."

Meanwhile, Aguero made a return last night as he came into the action in the 67th-minute substitute against Marseille.

Pep Guardiola has revealed he won't rush the striker back into the game following his recent injury setbacks.

Manchester City will face their rival in Manchester United this weekend, and Guardiola says the forward might not start the game.

When asked if Aguero has any chance of starting the match against Manchester United at Old Trafford, Guardiola emphatically replied: "No."
