Chelsea Coach Frank Lampard has been praising former Borussia Dortmund star following his performance against Leeds United on Saturday.
Chelsea hosted Marcelo Bielsa's side which saw the Blues climb to the top of the Premier League following their win.
It was Leeds that took the lead early in the game as Patrick Bamford score before Oliver Giroud simple finish made it 1-1.
But Kourt Zuma header and late goal from Pulisic made it three for Chelsea.
Frank Lampard has spoken highly of Pulisic, the American came off the bench to replace the injured Hakim Ziyech in the first-half.
He was responsible for every attack coming from the Blues. The progress of Pulisic has been often affected by injuries. He has been hit with hamstring injury and further fitness issues during the season.
He made his fifth league appearance of the season last night.
“Really pleased today. It’s been a difficult period for him with the injury and he gets frustrated because he wants to play," Lampard said at his post-match press conference.
"Having played 65 minutes in Seville I knew this game would have a huge amount of energy for the players and thought it was wise to start him on the bench."
Lampard went ahead to stress on the importance of managing the fitness of the former Dortmund star who arrived the club two season ago from the Signal Iduna Park.
He said: "My plan was probably to give him 30 minutes, but to play the period of the game he played, with the intensity of the game and get his goal. He has an incredible gift, it sounds simple, but arriving in the six-yard box as a wide man, because that is where the goals are.
"So I was delighted that he got his goal and he is only going to get stronger now."
