Leicester City Brendan Rodgers has give injury updates on Ricardo Pereira and Caglar Soyuncu.
It seems the Foxes will be without these two players for another few weeks.

According to reports, Ricardo Pereira will be out for another two weeks with a groin injury he sustained on his comeback appearance.

The Portuguese right-back returned to the Leicester City line-up in midweek after nine months out, and was substituted at half-time after hurting his groin early into the defeat to Zorya Luhansk.

“Ricky has a slight, not a serious, issue with his groin, but probably one that will keep him out for 10 days to two weeks,” manager Brendan Rodgers said after Sunday’s 2-1 win at Sheffield United.

“It was unfortunate. The surface was very slippy and he’s just aggravated his groin, but hopefully it won’t be too long.”

Also, Rogers also revealed that defender, Caglar Soyuncu has suffered the recurrence of the groin problem that had kept him out since October.

Recall that Soyuncu made his comeback from injury in the game in Ukraine, and also had to leave early, the centre-back withdrawn after just 15 minutes.

Rodgers said scans could not put a timescale on the Turk’s return.

“Cags, it’s too early for him to come in, but thankfully it’s not as bad as first feared,” said Rodgers. “He’ll be out with the medical team next week, and we’ll monitor that, but hopefully it won’t be too long.”
