Luka Modric signs one year extension deal with Real Madrid

Luka Modric has reportedly extend his contract at Real Madrid beyond its current expiration of June 2021, Marca reports. 

The Croatian international is expected to renew his deal for another year - to June 30, 2022 - at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

If you recall that Modric joined the Los Blancos from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012.

During his eight and a half years in the Spanish capital, Modric has won four Champions League titles and two LaLiga Santander titles, among other trophies, as well as the Ballon d'Or at individual level.
