Arsenal will hope to put smile on their fans faces when they face Southampton on Wednesday. The Gunners are coming from a shocking 1-0 loss to Burnley.
The Gunners finished the game with ten men after Granit Xhaka was sent off for violent conduct, he appeared to have grabbed Westwood on the neck. 

Mikel Arteta side conceded the only goal after captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored an own goal after he headed an Aston Villa corner kick. 

The loss left Arsenal in 15th position in the league at the moment. 

The Gunners have a mid week home game against Southampton 9m Wednesday. The game is expected to kick off at 7 pm GMT. 

It's been gathered that Arsenal have welcome back David Luiz in full training after he suffered a concussion following a clash of head with Wolves forward Raul Jimenez who also suffered a fractured skull weeks ago. 

While Gabriel Martinelli is available but might not be match fit after he recently recovered from injury sustained during training on June 21. 

Also, Nicolas Pepe is available for selection after completing three-match Premier League suspension. Recall he was sent off weeks ago following an head butt on Leeds United player, Alioski. 

While Hector Bellerin is unavailable due to one-match suspension for receiving fifth yellow card.

Arsenal will also be without Granit Xhaka who was sent off last weekend against Burnley for violent misconduct. He will be unavailable for Southampton (h), Everton (a) and Manchester City (h - Carabao Cup QF)

Thomas Partey is still sidelined with an injury on his left thigh which he sustained  Tottenham Hotspur (a) on December 6.
