The future of Manchester United star has continue to remain in the spotlight with reports suggesting he's unhappy at the club.
Just so you know, Paul Pogba is one of the highest earners at Old Trafford and the club will not turn away from increasing his pay.

But it looks like money isn't the problem for the French man, as he might be aiming for a new challenge.

Recently, Paul Pogba agent, Mino Raiola has declared that the player might leave the club as a free transfer.

It's understood that Pogba has two years left on his current deal and he's yet to extend.

But his manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believe Manchester United can only keep Pogba by winning trophies.

"It's always a demand here at Manchester United to win trophies," Solskjaer told ESPN.

"And the more we win trophies, the more players will want to play for us - then the higher standard you've got to set yourself.

"It's a demand for the players, a challenge for the players that we want them to improve and get better and better."

The midfielder returned to the club back in 2016 for a then world record fee from Juventus. He scored 13 goals and nine assists in 35 matches in 2018-19 which saw him increase his profile in Europe.

Solskjaer added: "Paul has been here now for a while and, of course, he wants to win more trophies. He's got a very, very good attitude to training and playing football.

"He loves football, he's ambitious, he wants to have success - like most of the others that are in the squad. We're not all the same.I would say that this squad has impressed me with their attitude and spirit lately and the way that they go about their work.

"Of course, it's down to us to win trophies and then we'll see who will be part of the team going forward."

Manchester United will face Everton in the quarter final of the Carabao Cup tonight. Solskjaer would be hoping to hand Pogba another opportunity to show his qualities against Carlo Ancelotti side.

The French man has seen his free role taken away from him following the arrival of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting CP. Bruno Fernandes seems to bea preferred option for the manager.
