Premier League: Walcott scores against his former club as Southampton held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw (Highlights) 2020-2021

Ten men Arsenal wrre held to a 1-1 draw against Southampton at the Emirates stadium on Wednesday. 

The Saints took the after former Gunner Theo Walcott chipped the ball over the in rushing Bernd Leno. 

But Southampton's urgency dropped and Arsenal restored parity through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang early in the second half, the Gabon striker ending an 11-match league streak without a goal from open play.

Saka impressively evaded three Saints defenders before offloading to Eddie Nketiah on the edge of the box, and his flick released Aubameyang to slot in his first open-play goal since the first match of the season.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta hopes of clinching a second goal was ended after they were reduced to ten men.

Gabriel was shown two yellow cards in quick succession, the second for tugging back Walcott on the break, as Arsenal's task suddenly became trickier.
