The hosts took the lead just two minutes in when Ogbonna headed in Bowen's corner and Grealish equalised with a deflected shot. West Ham started the second half quickly as well with Bowen heading his side ahead just 28 seconds in. Watkins hit the crossbar from the penalty spot and had a late equaliser disallowed by VAR for a very tight offside.
West Ham have now won their last three games on the bounce and they move up to fifth in the table. Next up for them is the visit of Moyes' former side Manchester United. That was Villa's first away defeat this season and they're now sitting in 10th. Their attention now turns to their game against Newcastle United on Friday.
