Premier League: Xhaka sent off and Aubameyang scores own goal as Burnley stunned Arsenal at the Emirates (Highlights) 2020-2021

Arsenal had Granit Xhaka sent off as they slipped to an insipid 1-0 defeat against Burnley at Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners forced Nick Pope into a number of saves in the first half but couldn't find the back of the net. 

Mikel Arteta side were later reduced to tẹ men after Xhaka was dismissed shortly before the hour mark for grabbing Ashley Westwood by the throat.

Burnley got the lead after consistent pressing in the 73rd minute when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang headed into his own net from Westwood's corner. 

Arsenal, who have now lost four consecutive top-flight home games for the first time since December 1959, remain in 15th with 13 points, while the Clarets move up to 17th place.
