It's been confirmed that Dominik Szoboszlai has completed his move to join the Bundesliga side. According to reports,
the 20-year-old signed a contract until June 2025. He will wear the number 17 shirt at his new club as he hopes to develop under young manager, Julian Nagelsmann.
According to Goal, the deal was worth €25 million (£22.5m/$30.5m) which saw move to RB Leipzig.
Following the move after he was unveiled to y Leipzig today, he will join the rest of his team mates in January once the window reopens.
Just so you know, RB Leipzig have some young talents in their ranks such as, Emil Forsberg, Dani Olmo, Christopher Nkunku and Justin Kluivert.
They have already been a force to reckon with in Europe following their exploit in the Champions League last season reaching the semi final and this season dumped Manchester United out of the group stage.
After he signed the deal the youngster express the delight of joining Julian Nagelsmann’s side.
He said: "I’m very pleased that this transfer has been completed. The club has developed fantastically. It is among the best teams in the Bundesliga and is also doing well in the Champions League. This step is perfect for my development. I’m coming to Leipzig to work under a top coach and in an extremely ambitious team, that is very young but also has a lot of experience and has been able to celebrate success. Here, I’ll be able to continue my development incredibly and I want to help the club to continue its success in 2021."
Who Is Dominik Szoboszlai?
Szoboszlai made his debut for the Hungary national team in March 2019. He also recorded 12 international caps, scoring three goals for his country.
The midfielder has made 20 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals and registering ten assists this season for Salzburg.
