Tottenham and Leicester City have started the season strongly and have been tipped among the clubs to challenge high flying Liverpool for the Premier League.
Jose Mourinho side went behind after Jamie Vardy penalty. It was a calamity from Serge Aurier who was involved in tackle in the box.
The Ivorian right-back pushed over Foxes defender Wesley Fofana with his shoulder in first-half stoppage time and the referee had to check the VAR screen just before half time.
Vardy who finished last season as top scorer fired home the penalty as Brendan Rogers went ahead.
In the second half, both sides hoped to counter each other but it was Leicester who got the second, when Fofana found James Maddison with a long pass but the goal was eventually canceled as offside.
The Foxes ensured Harry Kane and his team mates couldn't stage a comeback after Jamie Vardy header was deflected by Toby Alderweireld into the net.
The result means Leicester City are now four points behind League leaders, Liverpool. While Tottenham are on fourth position with 25 points.
