Arsenal agrees with Mesut Ozil to terminate his contract

It's been gathered that Mesut Ozil future at Arsenal might be over after he is now expected to join Fenerbahce during the January transfer window.

According to The Athletic, Arsenal & Mesut Ozil have an agreement in principle to terminate the contract with immediate effect. 

Recall that the former Real Madrid star has not played for the Gunners since March after being frozen out by manager Mikel Arteta.

Ozil was not registered in Arsenal's Premier League and Europa League squads this season.
