Arsenal congratulate Granit Xhaka and his wife as they expecting their second baby

Married couples always celebrate when they have a new addition into their family, as it's been said that "children are blessing from God". Both couples are usually over filled with joy and happiness following the arrival of their new born. 

This could be seen in the family of Arsenal's star Granit Xhaka, who is set to become a father for the second time. 

It's been gathered that the Switzerland international and his wife, Leonita Lekaj are expecting their second child together. 

The excited footballer broke the good news on his social media space after he posted a snap of himself and pregnant wife and their daughter. 

Following the pose for the family photo, his wife knelt down stylish as their daughter placed a kiss on her belly as the Arsenal footballer glowed with a smile on his face. 

Meanwhile, his club have also sent a congratulatory message to him following the good news. 

While reposting Granit Xhaka post, the caption read: "Congratulations, Granit - the Xhaka family is growing"

Just so you know, Granit Xhaka and his beautiful wife got engaged in June 2016 and married in July 2017.

The midfielder met his wife during his time in Germany with Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach years ago. 

They welcomed their first child, a girl in 2019. 

The 28 years old will be hoping to take the inspiration of expecting a baby into the game against Newcastle on Monday night. 

Xhaka began his career at hometown club Basel. He won the Swiss Super League in in his first two seasons before he moved to Bundesliga team Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2012. 

Following a successful spell at Monchengladbach where he was named their youngest captain at age 22, he moved to the Premier League. 

Granit Xhaka joined Arsenal in May 2016 for a fee in the region of £30 million.
