Bruno Fernandes wins POTM and Dean Smith wins MOTM of December

It's been gathered that the Premier League manager and player of the month award for the month of the December has been revealed.

The winners of the award were revealed via the official Twitter handle of the Premier League.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH 

For this category, Manchester United star has picked up the award following his outstanding performance for the Red Devils in the month of December. 

Bruno Fernandes has been named the player of the month for the second time in a row. The Portuguese international has been in great form for United in month. Just so you know, Manchester United only played one draw which was against Leicester City on Boxing day, the remaining games were all victories for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer men who currently sit on top of the Premier League table.

MANAGER OF THE MONTH 

Aston Villa boss has been named manager of the month, the Villans boss has done a great job so far as Villa are currently in 8th in the Premier League table. Recall that Aston Villa survived relegation through the wire last season and they have transformed into a team battling in the top half of the table.

Recall that Dean Smith have recorded some great victories against some top clubs in the Premier League this season, a humiliating 7-2 thrashing of Liverpool, victory against Arsenal at the Emirates and a 1-1draw against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.
