Arsenal have released the winners of their December player of the month as well as the goal of the month.
It seems youngster, Bukayo Saka is the rave of the moment following his contributions to the team in recent games.
Bukayo Saka has picked up two accolades in the month of December. It's been confirmed that he has been voted the player of the month as well as the goal of the month.
The Arsenal's number 7 scored in the Gunners 3-1 win against Chelsea, he also provided the only assist for Lacazette goal against Brighton Hove Albion. Saka followed his impressive form with a goal in 4-0 win against West Brom last week.
Meanwhile for the goal of the month, Saka had to battle Granit Xhaka and Mohamed Elneny to win the accolade.
Granit Xhaka came third in the voting, the Switzerland international scored an amazing free kick against Chelsea on Boxing day game at the Emirates stadium. It was the second goal of the game.
Xhaka who has faced a lot of criticisms from the fans over his discipline on the field went ahead to curl a left foot long range pass Edouard Mendy.
While Mohamed Elneny has enjoyed some game time this season in the Europa League, he scored a long range shot against Dundalk.
Arsenal defeated Dundalk 4-2 in the game as they went ahead to finish top of the group.
