Jose Mourinho Confirms Gareth Bale Has Returned To Training Ahead Of FA Cup Clash with Marine

Tottenham Hotspur has been transformed since Jose Mourinho took over last year. The former Manchester United and Chelsea boss replaced Mauricio Pochettino who was sacked following run of poor games.
Spurs are currently fourth on the Premier League table and have qualified for the final of Carabao Cup.

Although, it looked like a difficult game as they will face Manchester City in Wembley stadium.

One of the players Jose Mourinho signed in the summer window was Gareth Bale. The 32 years old returned to Tottenham on season loan from Real Madrid after seven years.

If you recall that Bale moved to Real Madrid in 2013 where he lifted La Liga, Copa Del Rey as well as Champions League with the Los Blancos.

The Wales international quality hasn't been his problem, but he's fitness. The forward has struggled with injuries which forced him out of the Los Blancos team.

Since he moved back to Tottenham, he has played four Premier League games and scored one goal so far.

But Jose Mourinho has revealed that Bale could be available for selection against Marine in their FA Cup third round clash on Sunday.

It seems the 31 years old has recovered from an illness which kept him out of the team for recent weeks.

Jose Mourinho said: "Gareth trained today for first time with us, tomorrow the second time, and tomorrow after training we will make a decision. What I can say, and is also a way to show you the respect we are looking to this fixture, is that Gareth told us he would like to go, he would like to play, so, if tomorrow the feelings are positive, he will come.”
Tottenham will travel away on Sunday to face Marine, the game will kick off at 6pm GMT.
