It looks like the future of Mesut Ozil at Arsenal has been decided, and the player might be leaving the club this January.
The former Real Madrid star has been out of the squad since last year March. He was frozen out of the team after a fall out with the club's hierarchy.
But the club and the German have been unable to settle their differences which might see both parties part ways at the end of the day.

Mikel Arteta shocked fans when he omitted Mesut Ozil name from the Premier League and Europa League squad for the 2020-21 season. Although, Arteta had stated he left his most creative player out due to tactical reason.

Just so you know, Mesut Ozil is currently the highest paid player at the club with a weekly wages of 350,000 pounds per week. He's current deal is expected to com to an end this season, but the manager, Arteta has revealed days ago he's free to negotiate with other clubs.

According to Goal, Mesut Ozil is close to signing for Turkish side, Fenerbahce. The German international previously posted a throwback snap of himself in the city of Istanbul, Turkey.
This led to many suggestions that the transfer is close.

Mesut Ozil further hinted that the move away from Emirates is imminent after he comment on a post on the official Twitter handle of Fenerbahce.
Fenerbahce posted a caption in English which read: "Come let's be night with day"

Ozil replied a yellow and blue heart emoji along with hourglass with flowing sand, which suggest the move is close.
