During the week, Aubameyang came out to inform the fans that he traveled home because he's mother was sick but he has since return to London.
But it's understood that Aubameyang will have to quarantine for 14 days before he can join the rest of his team mates.
Arsenal hosted Manchester United at the Emirates stadium on Saturday evening, which ended goalless at the end of 90 minutes.
Mikel Arteta side produced some notable moments in the game, one of whuch saw Alexander Lacazette struck the cross bar from a free kick. Nicolas Pepe also showed some flashes as well as saves from goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
But the manager of Arsenal, Arteta has admitted that he's unsure when he's captain will return to training.
Arteta said: "We have to follow the rules and the protocols right now and the protocols says that he cannot be involved at the moment,"
"We have to respect that and the doctor is managing the situation currently."
Arsenal travel to the Molineux stadium on Tuesday evening to face Wolverhampton. It looks like Aubameyang will not be available for selection for the game.
Arteta added that the former Borussia Dortmund star isn't available due to family issue and the club will have to manage the situation.
He added: "It’s because he had a family issue that he had to attend to. And these are the consequences to that moment.
"I don't know [when he will be back]. We are working with the Premier League and government about it. He's been looking after his family and now he's in quarantine."
