It's no longer news that there is a new manager at the helm of affairs at the Parc Des Princes.
Over the weekend, Paris Saint-Germain confirmed the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as the new manager.
The Argentine international has replaced Thomas Tuchel who was sacked on Christmas eve following their 4-0 win against Strasbourg.
Pochettino described the job as "he's dream job" as he return to the club which he once played for back in 2001 as a player.
The former Tottenham manager has met some the players over the weekend on training.
One of the players Pochettino has been speaking about is Neymar, who joined the club for a world record fee back in 2017.
Recall that PSG completed the deal for Neymar for fee in the region of 222m pounds.
But he admits he's open to working with the Brazilian and will need more training sessions to determine his best position on the field.
“When Neymar starts training with the squad we will find the best position for him so that he can be the best he can be,” Pochettino said at his first press conference.
“We don't like to talk about systems. We will work on the game, on the animation and that all the players including Neymar be the best they can be. "
Pochettino will manage his first game against Saint Etienne on Wednesday night.
He added that his side has leaders in every department and will hope these senior players can transform his tactics into results.
He said: “They are all leaders, there are different ways of expressing leadership and the more leaders we have in the team, whether in the locker room or on the pitch, the more beneficial it will be for the club.”
