Leicester City move up to second in the Premier League courtesy of a 2-0 win over Southampton this evening.
James Maddison put the Foxes ahead with a cracking finish from a tight angle in the first half before Harvey Barnes sealed the three points with a stoppage-time strike.
The Saints did have good opportunities and Stuart Armstrong came closest, rattling the bar in the second half.
However, Leicester were the more clinical team and took their chances to claim the victory at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester are next in Premier League action on Tuesday against Chelsea on home soil. Southampton play next in their FA Cup third-round clash on Wednesday at home against Shrewsbury Town.
