Premier League: Martial And Fernandes on target as Man Utd defeated Aston Villa to go top of the EPL (Highlights) 2020-2021

Manchester United defeated Aston Villa 2-1 at Old Trafford on Friday night.

Bruno Fernandes' penalty sent Manchester United level on points with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League. 

Aston Villa thought they have gotten a point after Bertrand Traore's 58th-minute effort cancelled out Anthony Martial's first-half opener.

But United went back ahead as Fernandes converted his ninth goal of the season after Douglas Luis had fouled Pogba on the box. 

Meanwhile, Manchester United now have to face their rivals Manchester City in the League Cup semi-finals on Wednesday. 

For Aston Villa, they will look to bounce back against Liverpool in the FA Cup next weekend.
