See Screenshot That Paul Pogba Tripped Himself And Douglas Luis Didn't Foul Him

Manchester United defeated Aston Villa 2-1 at the Old Trafford stadium on Friday night to move joint top with Liverpool.

Anthony Martial had given the Red Devils in the lead just before half time but Bertrand Traore's equaliser made it 1-1 in the second half.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side got the second goal after Paul Pogba fell on the grass after contact with Douglas Luiz after which the ref pointed to a spot. 

Bruno Fernandes stepped up and converted the penalty. 

There have been suggestions aimed at Paul Pogba that the French man has fell after he got tangled in his own legs.

Although, the VAR didn't have a second look at the incident before the ref blew for a foul.

There have been several criticisms against the video assistant referee, VAR, with many unhappy with the way its been interpreted in the game. 

Meanwhile, the victory for Manchester United have moved them to second with same points as Liverpool who are in first position. 

Although, Liverpool aren't in action until Monday when they travel to the St Mary's stadium to face Southampton.
