Manchester City have been enjoying a good run of games so far and it looks like Pep Guardiola side are back on track for the title race.
The Citizens have been rocked with Covid-19 to some of their senior players in the team but they have been able to manage the situation.

Over the weekend, Pep Guardiola side dominated Championship side, Birmingham in the FA Cup third round. The game finished 3-0 with a goal from Phil Foden and brace from Bernardo Silva all in the first half.

Meanwhile, Manchester City will host Brighton Hove Albion on Wednesday at the Etihad Stadium.

Ahead of the game, Guardiola has revealed that his striker, Sergio Aguero will not be playing any part in the game. It's been gathered that Aguero is self-isolation after he had contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus.

“He’s isolating,” said Guardiola when asked about the Argentine at his pre-match press conference.

“After nine or 10 days he will be back."

Guardiola also revealed that defenders  Nathan Ake and Aymeric Laporte are currently injured while Eric Garcia is in self-isolation due to Coronavirus along with Cole Palmer.

“Laporte is injured, Nathan is injured, Eric and [Adrian] Bernabe are isolating, Cole Palmer is isolating," Guardiola said.

"The rest, maybe I forget someone, but the rest are okay."
