Adekunle Gold nickname Scott McTominay after his winning goal for Man U against West Ham

Manchester United advance to the next round of the FA Cup after they defeated West Ham 1-0 at Old Trafford.

The Reds Devils were held to a goalless draw until the 97th minutes when Scott McTominay strike settled the game.

It was Scott McTominay eight goal of the season in all competitions, as he has bern popping up with the goals this campaign. 

Delighted Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold who is a fan of Manchester United reacted with a nickname for the Scottish. 

He gave him a Yoruba name, "Tomiwa" while appreciating him for saving his darling club.

Adekunle Gold tweeted after the end of 120 minutes, "thank you Tomiwa 1-0"

Adekunle Gold is a proud fan of Manchester United and keeps update in their match days. 

Although, Manchester United will have to wait until Thursday to know their next opponents in the competition quarter final stage.

Manchester United lifted the FA Cup in 2016 and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be desperate to win his first silverware as a manager of the club.

United are also in the Premier League title as they sit in second position on the league standing.
