Liverpool haven't been in great form this season, Jurgen Klopp side looked like a shadow of themselves following their stunning campaign last season which saw them clinch the title last season for the first time since 30 years.
Right now, Liverpool have been seriously hit with injuries to some senior players especially the defense.

Likes of Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez are currently rehabilitation from suffering long time injuries. While some other players are struggling with match fitness.

Liverpool have lost three straight games so far this season, and they are currently sixth in the table.

This weekend, Liverpool will face Southampton and it looks both Fabinho and James Milner will miss Liverpool's clash with Everton this weekend.

Fabinho is out due to a groin injury and James Milner is struggling with an injury which will keep him away from the clash against the Saints.

Speaking during his press conference, Klopp said: "Naby trained yesterday with the team, so we have to see what we make of it.

"Fab was not in training. Nothing really new with him or the others. They all get closer. Fab gets closer, Milly gets closer, Diogo [Jota] gets closer - but not close enough for the weekend."

Also, Klopp revealed reason goalkeeper Alisson Becker missed the training today.

Alisson was not pictured in training and there are speculation that he might have suffered an injury.

"No, he's fine. He's fine," Klopp said.

Another player who might return happens to be Naby Keita. The midfielder has been out since mid-December 2020 but looks to be in the match day squad.
