Naomi Osaka passionately avoided a butterfly attack at Australian Open after she did this

Naomi Osaka has been applauded by tennis fans after she elegantly removed a butterfly that flew at her face during the Australian Open.

The tennis star was facing Ons Jabeur in the third-round when the orange and black butterfly landed on her leg on Friday.
The butterfly took off but once again landed on Osaka's nose, much to the enjoyment of the crowd.

A chuckling Osaka once again grabbed the butterfly and opened her palm to release it.

Osaka will take on Spanish star Garbine Muguruza in the fourth round, after claiming victory in straight sets on Friday.
