Liverpool were outclassed by Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side at Anfield. It was a 4-1 loss to the Reds at Anfield stadium on Sunday. 

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson was in the spotlight as he allowed Ilkay Gundogan and Raheem Sterling to score all thanks to his errors with poor passes. 

Jurgen Klopp side had equalised when Mo Salah had brought the hosts level from the penalty spot.

But Phil Foden's sensational strike was the icing on the cake as Liverpool fell to a third successive home defeat for the first time since 1963.
