Liverpool have been boosted with the reports that Virgil van Dijk has resumed training.
The Dutch international has been out of action since his ruptured ACL injury in October in the Merseyside Derby against Everton.

If you recall that it was in the opening minutes of the game when he was tackled by Jordan Pickford in the box only for the linesman to raise his flag for offside.

Van Dijk was treated at the side lines but was unable to continue with the game which later ended in a score draw between both sides.

Since then, the Dutch international has been undergoing rehabilitation at the club

But on Wednesday, Liverpool posted pictures of Virgil Van Dijk in training at their new sport complex.Although, he was spotted alone working on his fitness and balance.
It's not certain whether Van Dijk will still play any game this season for Liverpool but he's in the race to feature for his national team ahead of the Euros.

Liverpool's title defense might be slipping away after they fell out of the top four spot and they are currently 19 points behind leaders Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are still without Joe Gomez, Fabinho and James Milner.

Also, the club's captain Jordan Henderson is expected to be out for 12 weeks.
