2022 AFCON Qualifiers: Abia Warriors Defender, Adekunle Adeleke Replaces Kenneth Omeruo In Super Eagles Squad

It's been gathered that defender Adekunle Adeleke has been handed an invitation to the Super Eagles of Nigeria  team ahead of March international window. 

Nigerian will face Benin Republic and Lesotho in the AFCON Qualifiers which is slated for next week. 

According to reports gathered, the centre back has been called up by coach Gernot Rohr as replaced for Kenneth Omeruo. 

Players have been replaced due to injuries and others aren't allowed to travel due to Covid-19 restrictions. 

Kenneth Omeruo who plays for Leganes in the second tier of Spanish league. Although it's not stated the reason Omeruo pulled out of the game.
