AFCON Qualifiers: Super Eagles Players And Backroom Staff Observe Early Morning Road Walk In Cotonou

The Super Eagles of Nigeria arrived Cotonou on Friday evening via boat ahead of their AFCON Qualifiers against Benin Republic.

It's been gathered that the Eagles traveled by the water ways due to the travelling restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. 
Meanwhile, the players are currently in happy mood and high spirit ahead of the game against the Squirrel of Benin. 

The game is expected to kick off at 5pm GMT this Saturday evening. 
Earlier today, the players went on sight seeing, as the strolled around the environment. 

From pictures shared by Sport journalist Pooja Media, the manager Gernot Rohr, his players and backroom staff were looking food and no report of injury in camp. 
Nigeria need a point to seal their qualification for the AFCON competition which is expected to be hosted in Cameroon. Eagles ate currently leading with eight points while Benin are a point behind followed by Sierra Leone and Lesotho in Group L. 

Although, it might be a difficult task, as Benin Republic are yet to lose a game at home for the past eight years.
