Arsenal players console Sokratis after his Olympiacos side were knocked out by his former club

Arsenal players Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Gabriel Martinelli and Kieran Tierney were spotted consoling Sokratis after Olympiacos were knocked out of Europe.

The Greek outfit beat Arsenal 1-0 at the Emirates on Thursday, but crashed out of the Europa League after losing 3-2 on aggregate.

Meanwhile, Sokratis who played all his heart in the game against his former club was on the losing end at the end of the 90 minutes. 

Following the full-time whistle, the Greek centre-back slumped to his knees, where Aubameyang, Martinelli and Tierney walked over to embrace him.

Recall that Sokratis contract with Arsenal was terminated in January after three years spell at the Emirates stadium following his move from Borussia Dortmund.
