Germany coach, Joachim Low to leave his role after Euro 2020

Joachim Low is expected to step aside as head coach of the Germany national team after the Euro 2020 tournament in the summer.


The 61-year-old, who guided the national team to World Cup glory in 2014.

Recall that Germany suffered a terrible outing ij in the 2018 Russia world cup.

A statement on the official DFB website confirmed Low will step down from his position. It read: "Joachim Low will end his job as national coach after the European Championship in summer 2021.

"The national team coach asked to end his contract, which originally ran until the 2022 World Cup, immediately upon completion of the European Championship tournament. The DFB agreed to this."

Germany U-21 boss Stefan Kuntz has been named as the most likely man to replace Low in recent years.

Also, Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp is named among the favorites.
