Aguero hasn't been able to play an important role for Manchester City this season due to a knee injury which he has been struggling with. This has forced manager Pep Guardiola to play with alternative midfielders in the striker's role.
Despite he's return to the team, Guardiola has continued to sideline the Argentine with transfer speculation that he will not be given a new contract.
Well, it's been confirmed that the former Atletico Madrid forward will leave at the end of the season when his contract comes to an end.
The 33-year-old will be a free agent at the end of the season, although he hasn't reveal his next destination.
Sergio Aguero took to his social media space to pen an open letter to fans, his team mates and members of the club.
Recall that Aguero joined Manchester City in 2011 from Atletico Madrid. He was instrumental to Manchester City winning Premier League title with his winning goal against QPR in the last minute of the game.
Sergio has won three Premier League titles, one FA Cup and five League Cups with Manchester City.
The 33-year-old has scored a total of goals in 384 appearances.
