Napoli star, Dries Mertens becomes first Belgium player to reach 100 goals ahead of Lukaku, Hazard and co

Dries Mertens was on fire over the weekend after he scored twice in Napoli 2-0 win against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico stadium on Sunday night. 

The Belgian international scored the free-kick and added the second with a fine finish in the second half of the game. 

Napoli moved up to fifth on the Serie A table following the victory. 

It was a record breaking night for Mertens after he reached a century of goals. He became the first Belgian to achieve such height as he called on his country team mate Romelu Lukaku to join him in the league of centurions.
