Pier Morgan takes swipe at Mesut while praising Martin Odegaard following his performance for Arsenal against West Ham

Arsenal came from three goals down to draw West Ham 3-3 at the London stadium on Sunday evening.

Lingard got them going with a brilliant strike, before Bowen and Soucek added to the scoreline to give them a seemingly impregnable lead. 

But two goals from Soucek and Dawson in the second half cut the deficit. 

The comeback was completed when Lacazette headed Pepe's cross with 10 minutes left to play.

Meanwhile one Arsenal player whom fans have been singing his praise happens to be Martin Odegaard.

The Norway international has been impressive since he arrived at Emirates stadium on season loan from Real Madrid.

Odegaard dazzled in the midfield as he controlled the game and created the goal chances for the Gunners.

Media personality, Piers Morgan has taken to his Twitter page to praise Odegaard performance. The TV presenter who is a fan of Arsenal compared him to Mesut Ozil, stating that he's played better than the five years Ozil spent with Arsenal. 

He tweeted: "This guy just put in a better performance than we saw from Ozil in the past 5yrs. Serious talent, terrific work ethic, great mentality. We need to sign him permanently. #Odegaard #afc" 

Mesut Ozil left Arsenal in January after he agreed to cancel his contract to join Fenerbahce.
