It's the international window week and club football is currently on a two weeks break. This means fans of various will have to turn their attention towards supporting their national teams.
It's understood that African countries will be playing their final rounds of the AFCON Qualifiers while European sides will begin their 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.

Well, during the world cup qualifiers on Saturday, a certain female referee got her name in the history books. This came after she became the first female referee to officiate a men's World Cup qualifier game.

It was in the game between Netherlands against Latvia. The Oranje recorded a 2-0 win over Latvia as winger Berghuis converted with a fine finish in the first half.

Meanwhile Frank De Boer side added the second goal from Luuk de Jong to cap off a comfortable evening after their disappointing loss against Turkey in their opening game last week.

Just so you know, Stephanie Frappart became the first woman to referee a men's World Cup qualifier.
It was gathered that Stephanie took total control of the game as a professional as she handed out four yellow cards with no record of controversy during the match.
Well, we hope the Confederation Of African Football, CAF can also adopt this method which will see women officiate men's AFCON Qualifiers.
