On Monday Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham, have joined AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus and Real Madrid committed to the plans, although it was widely rumoured that Chelsea were one of two U.K. clubs who had agreed reluctantly.
According to a source at Chelsea told Forbes: “The club is preparing to pull out. Roman’s involvement with the club has never been about money, it has always been about the community and [the] fans. This is not what we want.”
The source added, “Issues with the Champions League and Uefa remain … but we are preparing to withdraw after having listened to the community.”
Chelsea will face Brighton Hove Albion tonight and it's been gathered that large crowd of fans have turned up in front of the stadium to protest.
