It's been gathered that Kevin De Bruyne has decided to put pen to paper on a four years deal.
The Belgian international contract with Manchester City was expected to expire at the end of the current campaign but he has extended for another four years.
Kevin De Bruyne, 29, has grown to become of the best midfielders in the world following his development since 2015.
Recall that the 29 years old joined from Wolfsburg and he has spent over a decade at the Etihad Stadium.
According to Daily Mail Online, De Bruyne, 29, new deal will see him earn more than £300,000 a week at Manchester City.
While signing the deal, De Bruyne, was pictured with director of football Txiki Begiristain, as they posed for picture.
Meanwhile, last night Manchester City defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in the first leg of the quarter-final clash at the Etihad Stadium.
Kevin De Bruyne had given City the lead in the first half before Marco Reus pulled the equaliser. But City got the winner from Phil Foden with a left footed close range.
‘I could not be happier,’ De Bruyne said after signing the deal. ‘Since joining City in 2015, I have felt at home. I love the fans; my family are settled here in Manchester and my own game has developed really well.
‘This football club is geared for success. It offers me everything I need to maximise my performance, so signing this contract was a straightforward decision. I am playing the best football of my career and I honestly feel there is more to come.’
