Barcelona were defeated by their rival Real Madrid in El Clásico clash at the Stefano Alfredo stadium on Saturday night. 

Marc Andre Ter Stegen conceded two first half goals from Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos free kick. 

Following the result which has left Barcelona in third placed in the La Liga standings with 65 points, Ter Stegen has admitted that the league title isn't over. 

There are eight games left to play, but the German goalkeeper still believes that Barcelona can still win the title. 

He tweeted: "Difficult night. 
However, the league is not over by this result. Many matches to go and we will fight until the end. Now we must focus on the Copa del Rey final, a big moment for us and our fans.Força Barça" 
 Next week, Barcelona will travel to the San Mames to face Athletic Bilbao. Ronald Koeman will ne hoping to bounce back with a positive result.
