Leroy Sane congratulates PSG after Bayern Munich were knocked out of the Champions League

Bayern Munich have been knocked out of the UEFA Champions League following their last night result against Paris Saint-Germain.

Choupo-Moting first half header wasn't enough for the Bavarians who had lost the first leg at Allianz Arena 3-2.

It ended 3-3 on aggregate but PSG qualified due to the away goals advantage.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich winger, Leroy Sane has taken to his social media to congratulate Paris Saint-Germain.

The talented winger admitted that it was difficult for his side to comeback after they conceded three goals at home in the first leg. 

Sane added that his team mates gave all their best to qualify for the semi final but concluded that Bayern Munich will be better next season. 

He tweeted: "It's never easy to overcome setbacks. We gave it our all but it was not meant to be. You can be sure we'll go again next season! I Congrats to Paris.

Bayern Munich are the defending champions, after they defeated Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the final last season.
