It's been gathered that Manchester United striker might leave the Old Trafford stadium at the end of the season.

Recall that Manchester United completed the transfer of Edinson Cavani on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 34 Uruguayan contract wasn't extended by the Parc des Princes and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took the advantage to snap up the forward.

Although, Cavani has been a goos back up for Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial. But Solskjaer isn't sure if Cavani will extend his one year deal.

According to Goal, Cavani is interested om leaving Manchester United and the 34-year-old has his eyes set on returning to South America to join Boca Juniors.

Ahead of Red Devils clash against Tottenham, Solskjaer has hinted he's unsure of Cavani future with the club.

“I’ve kept in touch with Edi of course. We keep an open dialogue and he’s still unsure what he wants to do next season, which I find fine,” Solskjaer said.

Manchester United will face Tottenham Hotspur this weekend, following their 2-0 victory against Granada back in Spain in the Europa League quarter-finals first leg on Thursday night.

Solskjaer added: “It's not been easy year either for him or the rest of the world, this season, so he still wants time to make his mind up.”
