Stuart Dallas scored an injury time winner as 10-men Leeds United stunned Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
Leeds took the lead with three minutes of regular time remaining in the first half. Helder Costa did really well to keep the ball on the left flank, before finding Patrick Bamford who teed up Stuart Dallas to strike on the edge of the box and he brilliantly found the net via the post.
Just before half time, Leeds were reduced to ten after Liam Cooper who was shown a yellow card for a challenge on Gabriel Jesus, was sent off following a VAR intervention, with referee Andre Marriner changing his decision.
Manchester City pulled level in the 74th minute, Fernandinho found Bernardo Silva who beat the offside trap and he teed up Ferran Torres to strike home. Given all of the pressure Leeds had to endure during the second half it was in fact Leeds who came up with the winner in the first minute of stoppage time. Dallas, with his second of the game, found himself on the end of a Gjanni Alioski through ball before sending a shot straight past Ederson from the edge of the area.
