Ryan Mason spotted at Tottenham training ground for the first time since his was announced as caretaker coach

Tottenham Hotspur announced the sack of Jose Mourinho on Monday morning. It came as a surprise of many fans after the Portuguese international has spent 17 months on the job.

If you recall that Jose Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino who guided Tottenham to the final of Champions League.
Prior to Jose Mourinho sack, Tottenham Hotspur played a 2-2 draw against Everton last week at Goodison Park which left Spurs in seventh position in the league.

Also, Tottenham also crashed out of the Europa League round 16, despite holding a first leg 2-0 advantage against Dynamo Zagreb but lost the second leg in Croatia.

It's now been confirmed that Ryan Mason will take over as the caretaker coach. The 29 years old returned to Spurs last year to manage the academy side of Tottenham.

Mason retired in 2018 following a head injury he sustained while he played for Hull City.

Following reports gathered, Jose Mourinho has been relieved from his job along with his backroom staff. 
This means that Mason Ryan will be assisted by Chris Powell and Nigel Gibbs as Interim Assistant Head Coaches and Michel Vorm as Interim Goalkeeping Coach. 

It's also been gathered that Ledley King will be the continue in his role as First Team Assistant. 

Ryan Mason was spotted in training for the first time, as he's expected to prepare the team against Manchester City in the final of the league Cup.
