Real Madrid have been dealt a serious blow ahead of their game against Liverpool in the Champions League.
The Los Blancos are expected to travel to England later today where they will face Liverpool in the Champions League second leg quarter final at Anfield.

Recall that Real Madrid recorded a 3-1 victory in the first leg at the Stefano Alfredo stadium last week.

It's been gathered that Real Madrid and Spain captain, Sergio Ramos has tested positive for coronavirus ahead of the game.

The 35-year-old is set to undergo self-isolation for 10 days. This means that Ramos will be unavailable for Real Madrid games against Getafe and Cadiz in the La Liga.

Although, Sergio Ramos has been injured due to a calf injury but he's now expected to be out for another two weeks.

Real Madrid official statement reads: "Real Madrid CF announces that our player Sergio Ramos has given a positive result in the last Covid-19 test that has been carried out."

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will also be without Eden Hazard, Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vazquez due to injuries.

Also, defender Rafael Varane is still self isolating after he tested positive for coronavirus last week.
