Wizkid and Burna Boy are set to go head to head for another international award. Both singers have enjoyed a successful 2020 year following the release of their music project.
The nominees for the BET awards for the Best International act has been released. The nominees was published today, May 28th ahead of the award which is coming up in June.
The 2021 BET awards is slated for June 27th 2021 and Nigerian duo of Burna Boy and Wizkid have been nominated in the category.
Both Nigerian acts are currently in the ranks of the most sort after stars in the industry at the moment.
Wizkid and Burna Boy released their albums last year which has received a lot of recognitions from home and abroad.
According to reports, Wizkid's Made In Lagos album and Burna Boy Twice as Tall albums have gotten recognition from BET.
From the nominees list which was released today, Wizkid and Burna Boy will join fellow African singer, Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania. The three singers are the only repsentatives from Africa.
United Kingdom and France also got two repsentatives while a singer Brazil, Emicida completed the nominees list.
