Arsenal defender is expected to play his final game on Sunday when the Gunners face Brighton Hove Albion.
The Gunners will have their fans applaud David Luiz for the last time in the final game of the season.

Mikel Arteta side are currently 9th in the Premier League table and they still hope to seal 7th position which his held by their rival Tottenham.
Arsenal are trailing Tottenham with two points and it seems the Europa League ticket will go down the wire. 

If you recall that days ago, Arsenal confirmed that David Luiz contract will not be renewed. This means he will the leave as a free agent.
The 34 years is currently recovering from an injury he suffered against Newcastle weeks ago. It's not confirmed whether Mikel Arteta will name Luiz in the match day squad to face Brighton.

Earlier today, Arsenal players and back room staff gathered in the dressing room to celebrate the 34 years old defender.

David Luiz shared the dressing room farewell picture as he tagged the picture "Thank you lads".
Recall that Luiz joined Arsenal for 8m pounds from their rival Chelsea in 2019. Last season, he was rewarded with a one year extension which is expected to expire at the end of this season.
