Brentford defeated Swansea 2-0 to secure promotion into the English Premier League

After two year of trying in a row, Brentford have secured promotion into the Premier League.

Recall that this time Las year, Brentford lost in the playoffs against Fulham at Wembley stadium 

BRENTFORD defeated Swansea City 2-0 in the playoffs to pick up the final ticket into the English top flight football. 

An Ivan Toney penalty put the Bees in front early on after Bryan Mbeumo was brought down by Freddie Woodman.

And Emiliano Marcondes then gave them a second goal inside 20 minutes.

Swansea hopes of getting back into the game was dashed after Jay Fulton was sent off in the second half for a dangerous challenge.

Brentford have joined Norwich City and Watford who have also secured their ticket into the Premier League through the automatic qualification spot.
