But the play maker doesn't believe he is the best player in the Premier League. According to him, there are several other players who have better qualities than him.
While speaking on Manchester United official website, he named West Ham’s Jesse Lingard as the best player in the Premier League at the moment.
If you recall that Jesse Lingard was deemed surplus to requirements under Solskjaer and left Manchester United to join West Ham on season loan this January.
The Manchester United academy graduate has clicked into the team of David Moyes at the London Stadium with his records of match winning performances.
Speaking to MUTV, Fernandes said: “If you see Jesse, I think Jesse, at the moment, if you watch the last ten games, has been top, top, top level.
“For me, if you watch the last ten games, he’s been the best player in the Premier League, scoring and assisting in every game."
Lingard is yet to make a decision on future whether to return to Old Trafford at the end of the season or secure permanent move to West Ham.
The Hammers could play in Europe next season given their current league position. They are in fifth position and they are three points away from the top four spot.
Fernandes added that Lingard has rediscovered his confidence and he's expected him to continue his form next season.
Fernandes added: “Everyone here is really, really happy for him. He has confidence back, he has his swag back because he is feeling confident.
“We are really, really happy for what he’s doing.”
