Chelsea women have successfully defended their title as the clinched the Women's Super League title ahead of Man City after thrashing Reading on the final day.

Ahead of the final match day of the season,Chelsea had a two-point cushion at the top of the table over rivals Manchester City. It's understood that Both teams had lost only once this season — Manchester City lost to Chelsea and Chelsea shockingly to Brighton in the season.

Chelsea beat Reading 5-0 to clinch the WSL title on the final day of the season, and it's their fourth WSL title, second in a row and third in the last four seasons.

Meanwhile their manager, Emma Hayes was seen holding the title as she smiled for the camera.
